    Hi Jennings.
    In addition to what I wrote in the other forum.

    The Algerian Mig-21 were indeed painted with the typical factory applied scheme as applied on other Arab Mig-21’s-but not without some slight differances. (especialy the size,shape and shade of the dark green “splotches”.

    Re. the photo that googeler provided; this particular Mig-21 apperantly deployed to Egypt (probably during October 1973) where it had recieved the Egyptian “Nile” warp-around scheme-which was unique to Egyptian Mig-21’s only.
    It seems that this particular Mig had worn the Egyptian scheme for some time even after it returned to Algeria after the war.

    Had anyone ever tried to contact The Consumer Protection Association to conduct an inquiry?

    As far as I recall,all Saudi Lighrnings were Mk 53 (an sort of export version of the F.6).
    Regarding the scheme,there were two Lightnings painted with an expiremental scheme similar to this one.
    Pics of it can be found in Aviation Workshop’s book about the lightning.

    Guys who tried to phone them were redirected to an answering machine and they won’t replay e-mails either…

    I think that someone needs to go to them personally and see what’s going on…
    It seems that we won’t hear from them anytime soon….

    Hi Strato

    Well at least someone has the honesty to say what it’s all about instead of hiding behind moronic BS such as Israel is “defending” itself from firecrackers.

    In the last 6 months, Israel has killed 40 Palestinians in Gaza for the loss of a grand total of 0 (Zero) Israelis. The current ratio is 100 : 1.

    There was another Army that practiced the same type of retribution in WWII which also carried out a similar operation in a certain gheto.

    Gaza = Warsaw Gheto
    IDF = Waffen SS

    Moderators,please show this gentleman the way out of this forum.

    Do you really think that the strike on Gaza and Iran are comperable?

    As said,Israel is sick and tired from the Kassam rockets fired from Gaza,and it has every right to defend itself and its civilians from those C-class terrorists.
    There is no link what-so-ever to a possible Iranian or Syrian scenario.

    I’ll suggest moving on to more practical and informative disscussions rather then dealing with this claptrap.

    Those Migs are indeed Egyptian (not Syrian)
