“Stuka’s!”
“help yourselves everybody”- “There’s no fighter escort.”
‘Thanks awfully old chap’
‘jawohl Herr Reichsmarschall, give me a squadron of Spitfires!’
‘Give’m a bloody shovel’!
‘You can teach monkeys to fly better than that!’
Fascinating stuff. Thanks for posting.
Good afternoon mothminor.
Many thanks for your reply, it was good of you to take the time, and appreciated.
Yes, I have a copy of the Osprey book on 91 Squadron. The book is right, very few photos seem to exist of their Mk14s. I was involved in a dig on RM617, many years ago and would very much like a photo to go with the remains.
It’s the same reason with the meteor. Hand dug it with some friend’s way back in the late 70s, early 80s.
Anyway, thanks again.

Likewise!!
Hopefully the damage can be repaired.
Sadly, I think this was inevitable.

Hear hear to the above.

Thanks so much Pim205GTI, for the positive ID. I always felt it was cockpit related, but never been able to confirm it. It’s been in my possession for many years and I’ve always wondered what it might be, well now I know!
Thanks again everyone for taking the time to look and to id the part.
Once again manty thanks.
A happy Old Towzer.
I was surprised at the hammer price of the Herman bomb. (Lot 35) It made £8,500.
Sorry, meant to say ‘please feel free to remove’
Good afternoon AM,
My apologies. No offence taken, please feel to remove.
