You’re right about ‘if it were a Spitfire’. The Beverley’s used to scare the c**p out of me as a young lad growing up in the late 60s, Gave me bloody nightmares! No other reason for this post, other than seeing the Beverley in the photo just reminded me on those days as a small boy, when I’d run in the house scared silly every time one lumbered overhead .
