This thread is maybe an opportunity for Lancaster experts to give me the c/n of the Lancaster at Hendon as well as the one of PA474.
Most sources quote the c/n as unknown for all remaining Lancatsers.
There is certainly somewhere a manufacturer’s plate. You have just to know where it is located and have the opportunity to have a look or better ask someone working on those airframes.
Thks very much in advance.
I think that there was a link on WIX forum to the Me262
I will add some soonest

Thks for the link to France Warbirds
There is a CD based on the official French register edited by Brugier sold for 20 euros, postpaid.
Howewer, the name of the owner and current status (flyable or not) is not quoted.
I intend to go there for the first time. I have been told before that the Saturday is the best choice. I also read that the traffic around the airport is awful and that is advisable to go there by RER. Would one of the member be kind enough to tell me how far is the RER station from the airport (Within walking distance or are there buses?)
It might also be an opportunity to meet forumites.
Kind regards
Willy
In my opinion there are more secrets amongst historical cars collectors tahn amongst warbirds enthusiats, the more that the registrations which leads to the official owner is normally oainted somewhere on the aircraft whereas racing cars are usually not registered.
I can just add that some dial of watches manufactured in the 70’s trigger the alarm detector in commercial nuclear power station.
Is it dangerous for the health?
Nobody knows
Does some of us know the serial of the donators(Fuselage and wings)?
I intented to load files in jpeg format but got invalid file type.
What’s the problem
Gremlins are still alive and active in the Key Publishing’servers
I am pleased not only to view the forum but after approximately one hour of trying to get a new passport as mine was not working anymore and receiving approximately 5 warnings to my mail telling me (by mail) that my address was invalid I could finally log in.
Cheers to the computer men.
