Interesting debate over the potential danger caused by mobilphones. If I may add something:
In one Euroepan country the use of mobile telephone is prohibited inside telephone exchange and visitors are checked by an electronic gate.
In another Euroepan country, mobile telephone are used inside the telephone exchange as they claim that if the transmitter of the mobile telephone is located inside the building,a few watts would not make any difference.
My professionnal experience with radar transmitters let me think taht nobody really knows what’s harmful in high frequency waves.
For the static,When I was acting as safety officer of one of the major,we received detailed reports explaining why canadian Air Force fighters caught fire when the safety tapes on the fuel vent were removed. It was first tought that the JP fuel was to blame.Later on,it appeared that the ignition was caused by sparks originating from the quick removal of synthetic fabrics overcoat of the pilots. We then learned taht in Northern countries pilots were wearing an overcoat which was violently pulled by the crew chief before fastening the straps.
Further, I learned that in some cases, JP fuels are more dangerous than AVGAS,

Fortunately, when I was still frequently attendin airshows nobody crashed. I am only complaining about the weather as at least in two occasions I remeber, not a single aircraft flew.
After the ramstein disaster, I never attended an airshow anymore.
I will try right away and let you know
