It is unfortunately the same problem everywhere on the continent with ex-Eastern block aircrafts invading the available surfaces leaving no room for aircrafts more closely related to the local aviation history.

For the French speaking revisionism means the deliberatate subversion of accepted facts, for instance negating the Shoah or the Armenian genocide.

    Interesting threads.

besides the immense knowledge of aviation history available on this forum, I am frequently surprised by the intelligence of the comments which is unfortunately not always the case on other forums.

    Very few badmouth talking.

As written yesterday night, Lawrence of Arabia was shown on French TV yesterday night.

As the sales started this morning, I had the opportunity to view the record this morning.I must add that it was the restored long version of the movies.

Both airplanes definitely looked stock Tiger Moth except for the amrking and don’t seem to be related to the previous posted photograph.

    Comments welcome.

On this forum, it has been stated that every time, you open a jpeg file, you may loose some data. I am wondering what happens with jpegs files on CD and DVD which cannot be rewritten?

I just bought an Epsom 4490, mainly for scanning documents. I, nevertheless started to test the film and slides features.

Just reading, this thread, I learned how prints should be scanned.

Now for 35mm negatives and slides, what would be the best solution?

The maximum physical resolution is 4800 dpi (main scan) and 9600 (sub scan). I wonder if 9600 is a physical or computed value?

Anyway, I always scan at the best resolution and resize the copy for the web if required just as I do with my SLR digital camera.
