The speaker at la Ferté clearly explained that the new EU rule would be a problem (I would translate it as pain in the ass) for multi-engined aircraft operators. As above explained, a reasonable premium increase was agreed with the Insurers. It was also stressed that Pink lady was flying 40 hours yearly compared to a daily operation of 737. I agree that risk assessment should be left to professionnals ans not to useless politicians, either Brussels based or local.
The comparison with low premium for Classic Cars makes sense.
I wonder if the pilot was above average or taking risk. Now, happymeal, I have the answer.
So , as you wrote yesterday, was that particular aircraft earlier overstressed or hurricane damaged?
I also remember that it was a barrel roll and not a loop for the 707 prototype.
I was impresses and, wrongly, thought that he did it on purpose. It is indeed the first time I saw a flying Buchon.
Happy birthday to you
“N453WA Serial Number 121-42823 Type Registration Corporation” as per WIX info

I think, it is a new type of crash helmet recommended for pilots of American built vintage flying machine. It reminded a contraption once promoted by AJ.Foyt.
By the way, this protective equipment was displayed for the first time yesterday before lunch time.
According to to-day wearher forecast, the weather should be better on Sunday. I will check again to-morrow before deciding if I will go on Saturday or Sunday.
Would advise to check weather forecasts on French television websites.
If you go by car, you take the highway direction South, pass the museum, take the next exit, go back to Madrid and then turn into the entrance. Mind the turn, there is a 90 km speed limit but the turn is 90°.
When you leave the museum, be careful when entering the highway.
Thks for the info,gents
