Woodchurch and Little Gransden for me I think, maybe this year I will get to watch the display at Woodchurch. Either way I don’t mind, it’s a fantastic show in a great setting.
What was wrong with the approach – I didn’t notice anything amiss?
Rougham shows are amongst my underated favourites. I even enjoyed the eggbeater at one last year 😮

Not one of his decent aeroplanes then???? :p
Yes, Chailey was a beauty of a show. Great atmosphere, well organised and great flying. Can’t wait to go again.
Rob
But with an awful runway and a horrible approach on the western end… Cracking show all the same.
November 92 in a container…. Rumour has it that it poked it’s nose out recently though, maybe we will all get to see it again one day…
If it wasn’t for the fact it’s a helicopter I’d have popped down at lunchtime to take a look…..
Then they’ll let me out of the secure unit.

Isn’t the legal profession an odd thing…..
All roads lead to Duxford or Shuttleworth doncha know? 😉
Oh no they don’t, some lead to other places….
Ian, your PM box is full.
I’ve no idea where they’re going to visit – Norfolk’s just a series of turnip fields isn’t it?
Steve’s mobile number is 07910 477 663.
There are one or two things in Norfolk that hold an interest for me….
Who is the Duxford Skunk by the way?????
When I moved house once as a child I packed all my model aircraft in a box, when viewed from above it looked very much like the plan above…..
Hardwick has a hard runway as well as a new grass runway. In addition to this there is an additional grass runway on part of the old communal site.
Tibenham still has most of it’s runways in use for gliding activities.
That will be Duxford in the mid/late 80’s. The Freighter went to Canada(?) only to return a little later and crash on take off in Oxfordshire.
Hi Plane Mad,
That aircraft is now owned by Kermit Weeks and is presently in storage at Polk City Florida also there is another CASA 2-111 being rebuild to airworthy status for Cavanaugh Flight Musuem.
RER
Is it????? That must be very recent as the ex-OFMC 2-111 was bought by the IWM and was last seen stored inside at Duxford. Maybe Mr Weeks has a different 2-111
AVI, you appear to have fallen out of your aeroplane in those pictures…..
