Now there is a Harvard at Great Oakley however. Sorry to say I didn’t see you flying about yesterday Janie. What did you think to Great Oakley, I thought it was a great place when I popped in earlier this year.

The position with the Andrewsfield machine is not the fault of the Americans – it needs resolving and a clearing away from the site.

Its not the impression I was given by its former custodian some years ago.

I still have this horrible feeling that we will keep going round and round this loop for ever more. Yes I would like to see the Vulcan fly again and the achievements so far have been excellent, however I also like seeing all the other privately owned machines fly which their owners/operators also have to find the funds to do.

I would be interested in any 8th Airforce stuff to add to my collection (and the Jim Avis Stearman book).
