Russia and China should do a joint venture with the FC-31. (I think its a Mig 29 chassis under there ) Instead of Russia trying to squeeze the last bit of juice out of the Mig 29 with the 35, and China dumbing down the J-10, (dated design again), they could both make something out of the FC-31. The SC-35 (Sukhoi-Chengdu)

When in doubt , blame Russia. I take back my overtures to the China aviation space. They are all pretenders that suck and cant build anything without Russias help

I had no idea that there was even a controversy about the su 35 deal. I just thought that China ordered some su 35’s. I didn’t know that it was taken as a national humiliation by some. It was a big thing on many websites. Ppl even alleged that pics of the su 35 delivery were fake. Then after the truth came out, some said that China ordered them b/c they felt sorry for Russia and it was just an add on for a pipeline deal.

I don’t see why there cant be harmony between China and Russia fanboys. Although I have my reservations about the origin of the J-20, its still a really cool and capable machine and they built it. Same with some of these flanker variants. I think the best looking Flankers are the grey Chinese ones.

The reason that there isn’t harmony between the China and Russia camp is because the Chinese fans get in on the digs against Russia by the western fan boys. I know.. it can be tempting to get in on the digs against Russia but those of you who are doing that, give it a 2nd thought next time.

Does anyone much less the Russian MOD think that James Mattis signed off on a drone attack on the Russian air base in Syria ? Obviously not.

But is there some gulf aligned terrorists with connections to some loose CIA money kicking around Syria that could have (probably) carried out this attack ? Hell yes. That still counts as US involvement.
