again had you read thread, this drone tactic has been used for years by ISIS. Don’t you think it’s possible they’ve improved on techniques?

Sure isis was using this tactic in STREET TO STREET combat ! And they weren’t all that effective even when their targets were a block away. Which is entirely different than attacking a freaking fully guarded air base with kilometers of buffer zone.

What can be proven beyond a doubt is that the Russian official claiming that the US is behind the drone strikes due to so-called “technological sophistication” of parts like an eight dollar altimeter, is either an idiot, or trying desperately to show some collusion between US and this attack. Just like the video game ISIS convoy, it is embarrassingly flimsy and insults the intelligence of the target audience.

4 meter wide wingspan, gas powered, fully GPS’d drone. The Eagle eye 4m can fly 80 kilometers. And it costs $9500. 6 of them is $57,000 dollars.

Why is FBW focusing on the quad copter ? The main hit was these drones. And they look like the guts out of an Pakistani Eagle Eye 4m which sells for $9500. Same engine and wingspan as this.

And yes. Its $9500 bucks. FBW is $8000 off

These things were flying for 50km and were fully automated to fly and release their load.

    1. I’ve shown the drones (one is an obvious recreational drone like sold in any store) and parts can be ordered online- Bondarev claim debunked

The usual exxadurated statements from you.

    You’ve shown nothing.

Show us one gas powered drone with a 4 foot wingspan that’s in the range of hobby prices. ($1200 or less)

If this ooshiney troll could read, he would realize that Russia has demobilized 26 drones over a few days. Yet he says that Russia wasn’t ready for this. 1 drone got through. 1 lucky shot.

And he’s obviously showing a complete and utter lack of basic knowledge about drones. “30 bucks here, 10 bucks there and you can assemble 26 drones that can fly payloads of explosives 50km away” Haha.

So some US sponsored jihadis spent a couple nights belly crawling through the sand to get a lucky shot off with a DJI Phantom drone converted into a suicide bomb.

And this has the yanks heralding “shades of Afghanistan” once again lol.

Some free democratic Jeffersonian jihadis probably spent 2 nights belly crawling through the sand just close enough to get a lucky shot.

    There must be payback

The F-15 feels to dated for me.. For a non partisan air force, that would fill Russia, US, and Europe’s order books, Id go..

30x su 35 high mix multi roll
    15x EF typhoon pure interceptor

    20x F-16’s for low mix
    15x su 34’s for strike

The nonsense getting spread around about the F-35 is just stunning. The F-35 drinks less fuel than the EF. That’s probably the only fact that the statement is going by.

If a country is already operating EF’s, then there’s no way , that switching over to a new platform, with a new maintence regime, a new training and simulator regime and so forth, is going to be cheaper. You would be starting from rock bottom with a new program that is going to take years to work the bugs out of. There will be recalls, upgrades, patches and all kinds of nightmares. And the added cost of maintaining stealth skin ect that is not factored in

But hey… The F-35 is cheaper to operate than the EF

    Madrat says

The Chinese and Russians are their true competition. They easily dominate both.

There has been over 800 flankers built by Russia and India. And 730 J-11 Flankers built by China. And…. 160 Rafales built.

If Tass doesn’t have the authority , nobody does.

    1992: ITAR-TASS
In January 1992, following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, a Presidential Decree signed by Boris Yeltsin re-defined status of TASS and renamed it the Information Telegraph Agency of Russia. In May 1994 The Russian Government adopted a resolution “On approval of the Charter of the Information Telegraph Agency of Russia”, under which it operates as a central government news agency

    ^ question of the day.
Will India buy a Russian aircraft with heavy Chinese input?

They share the su 27. They are in the Brics.
