Mercurius, doesn’t have to prove anything, the JIT already did that, but if you refuse to read, any discussion is pointless.
Ans yes there is video, photo’s audio from tapped phones and animation of the entire journey. Eyewitness reports even from first hand.
    What more do you want?
The JIT is not a rapport on how to prevent incidents like this. That is not their job. It is to make a case, to be used in a criminal court.
It is up the the judge what happens next.
Bear in mind that they haven’t disclosed all of it yet and that the investigation will continue.

eyewitness reports and small videos uploaded onto social media is not as strong of case as it seems. Quite the opposite actually

Audio Reveals What John Kerry Told Syrians Behind Closed Doors.

At the meeting last week, Mr. Kerry was trying to explain that the United States has no legal justification for attacking Mr. Assad’s government, whereas Russia was invited in by the government.

His frustrations and dissent within the Obama administration have hardly been a secret, but in the recorded conversation, Mr. Kerry lamented being outmaneuvered by the Russians, expressed disagreement with some of Mr. Obama’s policy decisions and said Congress would never agree to use force.

Several of the Syrian participants said afterward that they had left the meeting demoralized, convinced that no further help would come from the Obama administration. One, a civil engineer named Mustafa Alsyofi, said Mr. Kerry had effectively told the Syrian opposition, “You have to fight for us, but we will not fight for you.”

Beautiful aircraft. We can, now, count double digits, right? It passed 10 copies?..

Beautiful isn’t the word I was thinking. Brutish more like. Not in a bad way.

With the big body and the canards, it looks mean.

I agree…if you have a full blown war there shouldn’t be an airliner flying around the area. I just cannot figure out why Russia tries to deny that they shot an airliner.

Furthermore…BUK has +22 km altitude range…it is almost like Patriot…very capable and mobile as we have seen…but not invisible as we can see in the video where the BUK drives with only 3 missiles left.

    Smoking gun has been detected.

I just cannot figure out why Russia tries to deny that they shot an airliner.

Ethnic Russian rebels who live in Ukraine and have Ukrainian passports are the ones who accidentally shot the jet down. Not official Russia in any capacity. Not the Russian govt or military.

British state controlled TV interview with Sergie Lavarov. Must watch.

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-37523229

In the interview Lavarov lambasts the US. Says that Samatha powers has no control over Aleppo and no control over herself

Even after the Rafale deal, India still doesn’t have enough squadrons to replace all the old aircraft.

how should they approach the next phase of modernization?

    Buy more:
    Rafales
    SU-30MKIs
    Tejas
    Pak-fa

    or yet another new type?
which makes the most sense for a country with a non-sensical arms procurement

Its a done deal. The Pak Fa.

And SU 30sm’s. They have 5th gen avionics already

The United States is as culpable as any other nation of interfering in other countries’ business- maybe even more so. But if you rationally examine the facts of this situation, and the reptilian despot behind it all, you have to be criminally insane to come to such a conclusion.

What in the HELL are you talking about ? There is something called DUE PROCESS. There was elections scheduled 8 months down the road. The old govt would have been VOTED out. But instead. The US administered a coup while Putin was at the Olympics.

Is there anything else I need to teach you about how democracy functions ?

So just by calling themselves rebels and starting to operate weapons they cannot be “expected” to know how to operate they should not be held responsible?

If I steal a 737 and crash it into the ground because I am not able to operate such a sophisticated piece of equipment, I should not be held responsible? Good to know!

Did you not notice that there was zero activity on any border until the US coup ?

Do you think it was pure chance that they did it while Putin was at the Olympics ?

Yeah, the US would never interfere in other governments political processes, that is INSANE!

    :stupid:

Russia was happy to make the lease payments on Russia’s naval equivalent of San Diago until the US coup in Ukraine.

“… if the US did not stage the coup in Ukrainne (sic).” This is as psychotic and ludicrous a quote as I have ever seen.

did you miss the Nuland recording ? her hand picking the next Ukraine president while Putin was sitting in his box seat in Sochi ?

No affiliation with official Russia? In what universe?

Their military leader at the time was a Russian, an ex Russian army officer, one of many Russians* with key roles in the insurrection in eastern Ukraine. He was later recalled to Russia by the Russian authorities. The Russian government supplied arms, equipment, leadership, training, cross-border artillery support & soldiers to the Ukrainian rebels. They didn’t even try much to hide it. I don’t see how that could have been done without Putin’s say-so.

*As in Russian ethnicity, Russian citizen, born & raised in Russia & living in Russia until the insurrection.

Nope. All BS other than they were ethnic Russians who happened to grow up in Ukraine.

MH 17 was just another thing that would not have happened if the US did not stage the coup in Ukrainne

In news that will surprise only the Putin-bots, Dutch investigators have concluded that the missile that downed MH-17 was fired from within rebel controlled territory.

    Cue the trolls…

You are aware that these rebels have no affiliation with official Russia right ? You are aware that these Rebels were in Ukraine at the time right ?

It happened in Ukraine and was done by Ukrainians but somehow its Putins fault ? Heh

Oh and I like how anyone who has a different opinion than what is said on state run western media like BBC is a “troll”

Different circumstances, U.S. And Iraqi forces surrounded fallujah, set up checkpoints and allowed the population to leave city before the assault (estimates put remaining civilians at 30,000 out of 350,000).

The parts of Aleppo held by various rebel groups and Kurds have been cut off for some time. UN was trying to open evacuation corridors even today. No guarantees the civilian population can get out.

ISIS in the east has actively trying to keep civilians in the cities. Mosul may end up being a absolute mess for this very reason whenever Iraqi forces begin that assault.

I never said it was a perfectly exact comparison. There is no guarantees in war and there was no guarantees in Fallujah. The point is, the US had a city in the lurch just like Russia has now and they are doing what they have to do.

The main difference is that Russia is doing it within international law.
