So Parlay is now an American as his line drawing above clearly shows that the engines are tilted down slightly and that you can see the center of the face of the engine from the front?

there is nothing there to prove that you are looking at the first fan stage. Nor does it prove the claim that it “doesnt have S ducts.”
And I was just on some Indain AF and F-16.com threads that were making substantial claims about the photo shopping of some of these pics floating around. I stand corrected on that.. I guess. Nobody is providing proof of anything. Yet.
Aerodynamic ducts, Photoshop. S-duct arguments. Did some other forum shut down recently? The outbreak of stupidity and flame posting is at a new high.
You don’t think that there is an aerodynamic price to pay for more obvious S ducting ?
dp
If the engines are canted down then it explains why you can see the front.

So you think that the engines are pointing down ? They aren’t. It is known at every source that I’ve checked so far, that the pic which shows a fan a foot or 2 inside the airduct is photoshopped
There is simply no way that the front of the engine can be 2 feet from the end of the air opening.
What are the claims and counter claims about S ducts on the J 20 ?
As we can see here, the contour of the body of the plane suggests that there are clearly S ducts
What the hell difference does it make? They are what they are. We have all gone through this is circles. I think we are past that. What we should be concentrating is more photos, more new info, more milestones met.
Missiles is the next big topic.
Do you believe that you can see the engine from the front of the |Pak Fa ?
we see you are also blind
sorry no sducts here
even patents show its straight through
sorry, you lost
Jo is a well known schizophrenic who sees a bunch of made up things that don’t exist, and post a million different documents he doesn’t understand, thats why most of the russians laugh at him like JSR and KGB
there are no s-ducts on there. its straight through
He is right though. Those are not engine blades. They are vortex breakers.
I didn’t expect you to be consistent. But maybe he will be.
lol. let’s say what you are saying is true and the designers of J-20 took those design elements from the planes you are listing. This can be at best called “inspiration” and the amalgamation of all these features from different planes means J-20 is indeed a unique design. There is no logic in what you are saying at all. ZERO. But go for it. This is internet after all. 😀
And by that, there is no logic in any of the claims made by Americans that Russia copied anything from the US. At least be consistent.
But please just look at this for a moment. Look at the over all size of the J 20 compared to both the Raptor and the Mig 1.44. Clearly the J 20 and the 1.44 are larger than the Raptor and identical in size to each other.
And then look at the shape of the wings. The angles are very similar to the Raptors and not to the 1.44’s.

The nacelles are curved, that’s all we know.
You can see on the pic that the intake is off center to the left and up.
And the J20 is “duplicate” of what? The BAE EAP?
Mig 1.44 platform
Raptor wings
F-35 nose and air intakes.
Russian engines.
BTW using the 1.44 platform was a smart thing to do. But it doesn’t work for a J 20 fan boy to mock Russia about it.
Old pictures, from 4’th June but as we are not exactly drowning in recent pics, here we go anyway;
why is there so much talk about the S ducts ? or do ppl claim that there is none ? Only reason i mention it is because at this angle, you can actually see the S duct.
one thing for sure is the su-27 looks much more like the pak-fa than mig1.44 and j-20
[im[/img]
I am not sure how similar the Pak Fa airframe is to the SU 27 family but even so, how is that a bad thing ? The SU 27 100% proven. What could be a better platform to start with ?
Or should they make some new landing gear from scratch just for the F of it ?
When the Pak Fa is done, unlike the Raptor, it probably won’t be discontinued a few years out. They are building it right and it will be around for a long time
again, bitter china made a full 5th gen fighter before russia did

And if you weren’t new to this, you would realize that most of those copy allegations have been debunked (B1 Whiteswan is a popular one) and there are just as much copies going the other way (Mig 15/Saber F-35/Yak 141 ect)
Many aviation enthusiasts are quick to point out the similarities between the Russian Tu-160 Blackjack and the American B-1 Lancer.
Russia was already thinking along those lines of a supersonic bomber is the Tupolev “SB” of 1959. Tupolev was flying swing-wing strategic bombers before the B-1 development contract was even awarded (1970) Myasishev’s design is basically the same configuration as the Tu-160 and B-1. Note That the Myasishev design is two years before the B-1 even flew..
