Don’t Believe that. The last guy who asked that question Got his ass kicked !!
lol poor guy!
thats againsta freedom of speech.
Moon is a pretty worthless piece of rock plus too small to keep its own atmosphere. But what exactly should millions of civilians be doing there? It is much easier to live in Antarctica if it once should get too crowdy in here..
Ok thanks for answer got it.
No No you get it diffrent.
I mean if we send millions of civilians to moon and make them a base there.
And I think with the growth of population we have Sahara will be full in next 50 years.
And what exactly should the soldiers be doing on the Moon?
well to protect civilians!
when we run out of place in earth the nearest place to make a base is moon. And for sure they make first the militery base then civilian one unless they make an international civilian base.
I understand.. So, you are saying that wearing Burqas makes the women respectable in society. Thus, the society indirectly forces women to wear the things. Not directly, by threatening (although I am sure that even this occurs in some families), but rather indirectly, by expeling/disgracing/not accepting those who do not obey the rules. Ergo, I would not say that the women like to wear Burqa, I would say they have little choice to wear something else if they want to live normal lives..
As much as I know they can wear even mini skirt and walk in kabul streets, but They will get shot by some Talib dirt or they gonna attack those woman rape etc..So they have choice to wear anything they want but the setuation is not yet ready for it.
By the way even in europe if a woman wear those Afghani burqas and walk in busy streets I am sure she cant survive long because of terrorist fear and so on..
And for burqa they like to wear it belive it or not!
Go and ask yourself if you doubt about it.
So, basically, I am right to say that the women themselves don’t particularly enjoy to wear it as much as their environment enjoys it, be it husband, family, kids parents, neighbours etc. Is it correct?
Not all the way my friend.
Ok let me explain:
Women Wear it because they like it. Why they like it? Because that burqa Make them more respectable in society.
That burqa almost guarantee there safety.
That burqa Satisfy there relegios needs. and so on….
Let me give you 2 more examples to make the matter more clear.
Imagine you wear the bullet proof jacket.
Its not comfortable.
its heavy.
in hot weathers ummm hell!
but when someone shot you it can save your life!
Then you gonna love it! Maybe you don’t enjoy but you gonna wear it and love it.
And Another example.
You see those people wear those thick wool jackets in winter?
Sure you have seen and own some of them. Then you know that those jackets are not comfortable and most of the time people who wear it don’t enjoy it. But they have to wear it because it save them from cold weather.
Pity you not a girl like Britney Spears! or I would taked you with myself to Afghanistan for a trip :diablo:
I got two questions on you Brabarian, regarding this topic:
1. You mentioned that 95% of Afghan women would say they like to wear Burqa.. What exactly is the reason they like it so much?
2. If you were a woman, would you personally give up clothes you are wearing now and volunteer to wear Burqa your whole life?
1- Thats a cultural value. They seen there moms grandmoms wear it when they grow up they use it. It is kinda traditional clothes. There are 100s of reasons like family pride, Husbend pride, Safety, custom, pudency from public and of course relegios etc..
Those above reasons maybe looks funny for most of you who don’t know our culture.
2- If I were in homeland sure! why not!? I am sure if you were a girl and lived where you live now you weared those tight jeans to show your lovely butts to guys 😀
Looks like you havn’t done you homeworks which I gived you!
And again you throwing nonsenses!
Thus reading the Quran 5 times or perhaps even 25 times will not be particularly instructive.
Stop speaking about 25 times in case you haven’t even read 1 time!
And don’t take it wrong!
I like you and all other people I am here to help people like you to get ride of misunderstanding and hate . People whos brains have been washed out and reprogramed. You better keep loving others instead of hate! hate brings hate. I tell you those things because I know you can change! for changing you need to accept others and diffrences. And of course learn and study more!!
Let me guess. When you go into the remote provinces and ask young women if they like being illiterate 97.6% say they love it. And when you ask them if they like marrying a relative 98,7% say it is the way to go! Many women are forced to wear the Buhrka.
Many practices encountered in the Islamic world predate the emergence of Islam, yet many imams and clerics invoke Muslim teaching to justify them.
You just a Brainwashed person who have no clue about Islam and muslims ! Your knowledge about islam is very limited. Those things you throw out show your wrath and anger about islam.
Sorry But “you don’t make any sense!”
You better read my previous posts! To learn more about burqa etc..
Come and talk with me about burqa and Islam when you read 5 times carefully Quran and lived 1 year in a Islamic country between its people.
Take care kid!
I find this pretty expectable as seeing hundreds of identical black or blue female statues on streets does not exactly help you to find an appropriate partner outside your family. I think Afghans are victims of their own traditions in this matter.
Well thats not then the burqa talk! why?
well Listen then:
Even the girls show herself naked to boy and boy do the same and they accept each others, still its there Parents Who Decide. and it dosent have to do anythign with burqa.
And I think thats very very wrong tradition that parent should decide instead of those girl and boy!
It is a wrong marriage tradition.
See? Western culture spreads thru easily, as I have said.. Funny, but you won’t find a single woman here in Europe that would even want to try out Burqa in return.
Yeh then its Taliban who sell those Burqas in Ebay
And why some of afghan girls wear those western clothes?
Well First its a cultural Stream.
Second They see in movies etc.. those heros and heroins sure that has effect because our media is kinda died to make a movie something like “Burqa woman” etc..
and for your information we have had 5 millions refugees and after fall of taliban half of them returned home sure they bring new things inside our culture and that has some effects too.
You have mentioned that Burqa is much older than the Islam itself. I am asking – how come? How come the fashion remained unchanged for more than a millenium? That always indicates deformed development which has often external influence as a reason, read environment.
.
Just the fact that Burqa deters others from being attracted by someone’s wife indicates that it is her husband who takes most profit of this kind of clothing, not the woman and it is him to demands this tradition to remain. Why would women consciously want to give up advantages of their female attraction? Bullsh!t.. It is Afghan men who are lazy as hell as to permanently being afraid of possible competition.[/QUOTE]
Damn put change the threat header “Burqa in Afghanistan”
😀
ok first: It has changed as said diffrent region wear diffrent. maybe it was not the same as now but there was burqas similer to modern burqas. And maybe you ask why they user before islam in Zarathustra Budhism time those kinda of things? I will answer it short because otherwise I have to write 5 pages about Pre islamiq period of Afghanistan.
Thats old time burqa has kind of protectiv value.

If you study a lil bit you will notice that marrriage between cousins are very comon in our country.
and between close relatives.
So they see each other as much as they like without any burqas etc..
Because usualy girls in our country not using burqa if they are with close relatives.
And in marriage celeberation which often comes over 500 guests the men and women are together and dance together and there is live music etc.. so girls use make ups and no burqa. ( those are correct about big cities ) That first day taliban Come they banned music and marriage where men and women mixed i remember good that time. and still when my uncle went marriad there was music and men and women together. But music voice was very silent.
Girls in Afghanistan wear jeans and sometimes Mini skirt but inside house and on some party only. They wear lasted models ( copy version ) from good designers such as Giorgio Armani and Gucci!
you better visit Afgahnistan and see modern shops over there.
And I am sure your point of view will change.
hope this help.
Currently writing my Phd on Helsinki university about cultural diffrences and on some part of my articles I have to write about Women rights in Afghanistan.
“No, but I really think it is too thick and too long for hot days and dark colors do not help, either.”
Dark colors are no problem. Related to wide-clothings it creates a ventilation-effect inside. In some way protecting your face keeps your skin longer “young”.
But those former practical demands from former times are superseded by questionable religious claims far above practical needs. Modern clothings a.s.o. allows the same effects today.
It dosent help thats true bieng inside burqa make you sweat damn a lot in hot weather of afghanistan.
I heard almost from most of my relatives female who used burqa said its very hot inside.
and if you walk on streets of Kabul, Herat or Mazare sharif you see some of women like this piture bellow.
wearing burqa is a value i our country. and people who live in a country they should respect its values. maybe if they move to western countries and live there many many years thatvalue going to change.( Not all the time )
!!
Wrong!
kid you come and tell me about burqa in my country!!!
The country you never been and don’t have a clue about !
Just sitting on your village 29 hours per day behind your computer and getting brainwashed by those medias who just show one side of problem!
Not your fault !
ps. And i am sure you never touched a burqa in your life. And you dont know how many diffrent kind of burqas are and what region wear what kind of them.
Nice site 🙂 thanks for sharing.
Check out the Skylon spaceplane project http://www.reactionengines.co.uk/ it’s a shame that it’s a British design, it might have got built if it was American 😉
that Skylon Launch Vehicle looks quit nice and its dark color make it quit realistic. as it says in next 10 years we will see that one.
@flex297 good that you learned something new.
But this discussion is about Iran war not about Afghnistan culture.
I am currently writing some Articles about Afghan women right etc… You can find them in next few days in my websites.
