    FM 104 Carburetors

Just discovered this thread. Bolyman and Fleet16b – you can be assured the project is interested in additional Carburetors. The originals were stripped off the aircraft decades ago and the project is still in need of an additional three Stromberg PD 16’s. There are a few other engine parts missing as well. We would be interested in speaking with you.

Work on front turret is progressing. As you are aware these old ones need lots of TLC and completion is some time off as yet.

    Welcome to the forum Bob.

I have been up to visit TAM a few times and view the progress on FM104. Sorry, I don’t have any info on where you can locate a Martin turret for the project.

How are the other turrets coming along?

    Regards,

TAM needs compete Martin 250CE Turret

It was encouraging to hear there may be parts for Martin upper turrets. The Toronto Aerospace Museum (TAM) is in the process of restoring a Lancaster Mk X (FM104) and is in need of a complete Martin 250CE upper turret for restoration and once acquired could also 🙂 be in need of completion parts. If any of your contacts have a turret we would certainly be interested.
