Nice to see some more T-bird panels in this project thread.
Here is another one that is almost complete. From a Canadian built example 133471. Sorry for the picture quality.

Looks like the former G-APEY c/n382 has been sitting on the ground for a few years in the Congo. Up for sale anyone interested…:D

I take it that Duxford would not be interested in a HS748 Andover as it would not fit into their airliner collection but a civilian example should be represented.

Will the Museum in Nanton have to built another hangar to handle this project or do they have avail space in their existing buildings.

Ah similar to the soft colours that they use in hospital emergency rooms etc…
I wonder why the colours were not used in the later Douglas product lines
I keep hearding that Pratt & Whitney Canada were getting a 747SP as a possible replacement their Boeing 720 C-FETB?
🙁
Just a few more of CWHM’s beautiful Firefly on a quiet Friday afternoon last June at the museum 🙂

Great selection of photos AVI…for me it was my first chance to witness Hawk One in the air and she didn’t disappoint me all …. a beauty….

Peter,
So do the wings on this Herc actually belong to this airframe?
I think the Yukon was a very long shot but a C119 would have been nice to have and those aircraft were available….
very nice pictures indeed…looks like a bumpy landing 🙂
Well they have done a pretty nice job on putting that Herc together for the airpark then. Any idea on when she was last flown. I have seen pictures of her on static display at an event in 2005 so I am assuming she might have been flying in that year.
Too bad about the lack of engines in the Voodoo eh…
