    Mike,

I guess no more DAK’s will be found at Mountainview today?

Are there any other airframes other than the CT-133, CF-5 and Tutors in storage at Mountainview?

I was reading an old article last night about the RCAF Daks in the late 80’s and it mentioned that they had about 9 left in service at that time….

Does anyone have any information on which Daks were the last ones to retire in the RCAF? and what their fate was?

I get a Goggle search and It lead me to a large site for serial numbers…and that’s what came up.

    Peter,

One thing I find a little confusing is the fact that KG455 was assigned to two DC-3s.

    cn 12480 C-47A-10-DK 42-92655 KG445 [INDIA]

    cn 12490 C-47A-10-DK 42-92664 KG455 Renumber 12924 for RCAF in 1970

    Any ideas?

    Peter,

I think this Dak might be part of those phased out in 1989..but like I mentioned above I don’t not much about her as I didn’t get a chance to talk the staff at the museum to get details about this aircraft…

The engine props are locked in place with braces and the undercarriage is supported off the ground but I think she needs some TLC…I am not sure how she arrived at her current location..whether she was taken apart or ?

Looks like both of those Argentine seem pretty complete…
