Many thanks Adam! 😀
No worries about the PM. It does me good to actually work out how to do things myself! 🙂
Stuck on a compatibility issue ATM (background image/design)… so I feel another PM is heading your way 🙂
Great shots Gary! Love your B-25 images. 🙂
Thanks guys!
Dan – Yeah, been on here for a few years now. Not so much recently, but just getting back into the swing of things again. 😉
awesome colours on the flydubai 738!
looks like you were fighting for sun that day 🙂
Congrats 🙂
If you see VT-STV around… make sure you get some shots! 😀
I’d like to see their sales figures!
Anyone with the slightest bit of sense wouldn’t touch photos like that with a barge pole.
If you’re looking to sell images, keep the price modest to begin with. Are you looking to sell at exhibitions mainly or also online?
Including fancy frames bumps up the cost and is far more expensive to send out to customers. I find selling digital negatives much more cost affective, and is something worth considering.
Thanks guys!
Haha…
Yes, I did get a few shots of G-LEAI. Being 6ft 3… manoevrability inside was an issue. 🙂 Nevertheless, I love the flightdeck of the new Citations, especially the logo stitched into the control yoke leather covering. Very nice touch.
Thanks for the comments guys! I’ll try to post some more ASAP. 😉
Really nice shots Adam! Nice selection of vantage points there. You certainly know your way around STN and it definitely pays off with the quality of images.
thanks mate! if you’re down at STN sometime this summer we’ll have to meet up.
It’s not a great time to buy camera equipment right now. Places where you could get good deals are sticking up their prices due to the awful exchange rate.
I get most of my stuff from here:
http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/123fstop/
All prices have gone up 10-20% (around £200 in most cases).
Thats the trouble making a business out of buying and selling goods. It all goes **** up when the exchange rate drops.
I’d think around £600-800 for a 35-350mm lens. You can get a brand new 100-400mm for £1k.

A mate of mine has a Canon 35-350mm. He uses it with a 400D and gets great results. It’s his main lens too. He’s got hundreds on airliners.net which answers your question about quality. Check out:

It’s getting old now though so you’d have to pick up a 2nd hand one.

Hey Huw, nice shots.
Good to bump into you at LTN. That must have been the 1st time since last summer! 😛
Blimey, they fixed that quickly!
Nice pics!
I too am very interested to know why Qatar Airways operate a CRJ, is it one of their corporate fleet?
CRJ…??? 😮 Thats a Global Express!!! 😀
You’re correct about the ownership though. It is used by one of the Royal family. The callsign is “Amiry 5”.
