What do they have at this small museum now? I’ve lost count on what they have.
Thanks

Do you know what the Luftwaffe aircraft next to the T34 is? Also I’ve got some photos of Diamond Lil in the air. I think it’s the same event. Was Diamond Lil at that event?
The ‘Luftwaffe’ aircraft is a Putzer Elster B (sp?), G-APVF I believe.
Diamond Lil should have been at the Fly-In but had blown an engine a few days earlier and didn’t make any more UK show appearances before heading back home. She was at the International Air Tattoo at Boscombe Down and at Biggin Hill.
FWIW aircraft I have listed from the North Weald event are:

Undoubtedly North Weald.
I think it was the USAAF Fly-In in June 1992.
The T-34 is N34AB
Cub 43-29601 is G-AXHR
Most of Dave Gilmour’s and Rob Lamplough’s based aircraft were out for the show – the tail of N51RR is visible in one picture, as well as some of the Aces High fleet, e.g. Dolly, Ju52, Vultee BT-13. G-SUSY also visited. There were about 4 Beech 18s present including Beech Belle and Southern Belle plus a similar number of T-6 and Stearmans.

Plenty of discussion on WIX: Fuddy Duddy sold
Also on the Wings of Eagles website: Wings of Eagles

Am I mistaken in thinking Charlie Church had parts of one?
Yes, except it was a complete airframe, ex-Strathallan as mentioned earlier, P3950 which was going to be restored to fly. It was at Duxford or a while and is now in Brussels.

This link gives the locations of all the US capsules:

Assuming the one discussed is the one that was in Manchester then it is TTV-2 (Towed Test Vehicle) for use in the Paraglider programme

I can think of three complete airframes. There’s one in Belgium, one in the RAF Museum and a Target Tug at the Canada Aviation Museum, Ottawa.
The South Australian Aviation Museum in Adelaide have another which is slowly being restored to a complete aircraft (Battle N2188 ). Lincoln Nitschke, near to Adelaide, has a cockpit/forward fuselage section (Battle I ).

This, maybe.
Hint: switch off things like Terrain

But which show to goto, Duxford, Biggin or Shoreham????
No contest (literally) – Biggin is now at the beginning of June and Shoreham has moved back two weeks to Battle of Britain weekend. In the UK that only leaves Duxford and Old Warden for the first weekend in September

Veteran and Vintage Aircraft has a similar but subtly different view – AB910, rather than AR213

What is the complete story about this person? At one time it was reported that he had five Hurricanes under restoration, but there have been no photo’s of the airframes as far as I know. Where have they all gone or does he still have them?
Cheers
Cees
As well as the one at Cavanaugh, the US Air Force Museum – sorry – National Museum of the United States Air Force Hurricane is also from RRS

I think this would be the one you saw at Old Warden – July 1997, a modern Belgian variant
