Hi Stephen, I am looking for one also. I have one NOS and am desperate for another to go in my Auster T.7 rebuild. I have one not suitable to fly if interested? If I can get another NOS one from somewhere, you are welcome to my used one for free.
Kind regards
Anthony

Hi David
Yes she is ex RCAF 16667, CF-LIC.
Auster Fan, yes mate I am the NZ Rep for the IAC and member. I only just got the wings on her a few days ago with the help of Baz and a couple of others. Will be listing her on the IAC website later today.
Laurence, nice Auster, does she still still survive?
Cheers
Anthony
Way to go to kill a thread Baz..LOL
In the meantime, anyone out there interested in an ex RCAF AOP-6? I recently aquired one that needs a new home….no I dont need 2 of them!
She comes with all Logs and paperwork as well as a mountain of New Old Stock parts
Wow, great work team! What a difference. Now comes all the time consuming jobs no one will ever see. Keep up the great work!
Cheers

Nice find there DD, whilst on the subject.
Does anyone know of anyone looking for a brand new set of genuine Auster Ski’s? I have a set for sale still in their original packing crates from Canada……
Wow, this is turning into a great Auster thread!
Really interesting, thanks guys!
Come to New Zealand and we will get you up in one!
Hi Auster Fan, I agree mate. They are a lot of Aeroplane with a lot of history and represent great value for money. I guess one day they will be recognized for what they are……
Elmdon Boy…you are not the only one mate! Took me a long time to get a handle on them all as well!
Dave, that makes sense that Ron rebuilt her, he did well! Yes, Duncan has been in touch with a shopping list of parts he is after from my NOS ex RCAF spares. Seems like a really nice guy.
Thanks guys, I guess thats Kev’s Auster then TW536? That is a pretty stock AOP-6 if ever I saw one. Ian O’Neill was telling me I am sure that someone restored her to that config many years ago?
There must be a few Terriers/Austers ferretted away in the UK still? Are there many out there still in original un-converted (Terrier) Auster AOP configuration?
Hi guys, interesting discussion.
Alex, there is a place in Timaru that does this (the owners live here in Chch). They did a great job but the price was eyewateringly expensive. I would love to have done more of my Auster components, but not at that price. Maybe something could be set up here where we could all chip in?
Cheers guys
Anthony
Hi Powerandpassion, FYI that T-43 seat is on backwards. The front should drop down
