Andrew, thankyou for that information I will find that book, also wondering if it is the same Bill Taylor who was last operating out of Boston Aerodrome after Digby Goss retired,if so I am intouch with him,he bought the Pawnees from Digby and carried on for a while doing mainly seeding and top-dressing but no liquid spraying.Have you visited the Under the Wire website?Have just made contact with one of our pilots from the 70″s Bob Coles who now lives in Belgium,he left Lincs Aerial Spraying Company to work for Ciba-Geigy worldwide initially doing trial work for them.He tolk over the job from Ken Harness another of our pilots at Lincs Aerial who then set up his own company Crop Aviation(UK)Ltd who were also based at Boston until he retired in1989.The aircraft used for Ciba”s trail work was the Pilatus Porter.I am trying to make contact with as many people who were involved in the uk aerial spraying to collate as much information as possible before its all lost.Thankyou M.H.
