i got involved in a similar thing on acig (with frank, kfadrat and samster) as iraq in the first persian gulf war. its been going on since febuary at least. its a lot of hard work but fun

being a local to manston

1) runway -ex vulcan dispersal base and i’ve seen concord there so got to be long enough

2) roads – they built a two lane dual carrigeway all the way out to it and they are widening half the m2. while its not motoway all the way its varies between 4 and 2 lane dual carrigeway

3) rail – this is the south east – we have the shitest railways in the country – we have 3rd rail so trains from th rest of the coutry don’t work and all the rolling stock is mstly knackerd ancient (think 30 to 40 year old) slam door cccarrieges that are death traps. come rush hour all the trains are packed tighter than sardines 🙂 (personal experience). the track goes through some of the oldest streches of railway in the country and is shite!

but manston is a better option than a 4th heathrow runway, 2nd gatwick or stanstead runway and that part of kent s full of jobless (its real high for round here)
