ahh but over here with very very few guns we don’t have machete or otherwise attacks on the smae level they do in america.

yes there is the odd case but its rare, it is not as if there is a certain level of people who comit crime in soceity and if they are america they use a gun and in in the uk they use a …. (hokey stick? :-)).

– well the french i did for 7 years (ranging from 45 mins a wekk for the ifrst 2 years up to 2and half hours last year) – i not very good at all (llok at all these non englsih speakers who are better an english than me -ie re my spelling). i did german for 1hr 45 a week from mid 96 to 99 and rember very little.

i use my fench ocasionaly and that helps, but all the french people ether speak so much englsih that i use english or no englisha nd im stuc.

oh yeh – i susposedly did a year of latin (40 mins a week) but i remember “ego sum” and a handfull of other words.

i sincerly congratualte and envy anyone who cn speak more than one language, let alone come here and chat like this – escailly the poeple of my age (or younger)
