Just 14 spit(sea)fires this :very_drunk:year?
I have to say, I’m finding it hard to get my head around the idea of a bunch of children covering the roundel of MH434 with painted paw prints. Its such an bizarre thing to do. Its even more bizarre that someone actually even thought of it.
Perhaps its a devious ploy to confuse the roundel police!
I for one loved it. Nipper Bantock will have his poster paints and a hopeful grin next time he’s at DX! What a great way to get the younger generation all airshow and history’d up!
The younger generation need to be involved!
I wonder what the admission charge for a child older than 4 but not yet 5 is?
Nipper Bantock is four, but like his pater will certainly play in the second row! I was going to bring his birth certificate! As his year group at Pre-School are not listed we’ll assume he’s on the naughty step then?
For nanny – the naughty step will be near Biggleswade!!
Some confusion on the operators towards the end of the list of participants unless the BBMF now operate Sally B ……..
Duxman
…….excellent – coastal command paint scheme please!
Hope the other chap is okay?

Oh for a time machine and a few quid!
Will our grand kids be saying the same with respect to current disposals?
Jet provost over Oundle heading SW
Considering all of the Voyagers are currently grounded I wonder if this could change?
Perhaps they should be stored for later use? I’ll fetch a spade……..how deep do we need to dig to reach Burma?
I really hope that’s a concept photo shop effort…………if so………advice to builders should read………noooooooooooo!
I too will add my vote for an accurately marked Spanish Buchon. Although not flying, I would absolutely love to see the Museum of Flight’s P-38 returned to night fighter “M” status complete with second seat, radar pod, and all black paint scheme.
There’s a lovely blue Buchon in Kalamazoo – saw it four years ago – I have to admit it was an unexpected highlight!
She deserves to be in the USA, considering her history.
Maybe to save costs they could put her in the same container as the Typhoon :highly_amused:
We’ll done to the Greys. She deserves to be in the USA. Hopefully the C model is on it’s way.
at a guess another Spitfire Mk.1 ?
Aha got it PR11, obvious – note to self read the whole story! See the mast! The broken canopy Perspex throws your eye!
SM845!!
What’s the airframe on rebuild behind SM845’s tail chaps? Looks interesting?
I’m informed that Stickleback (which departed today) is heading for Portsmouth, but I don’t know the final location.
….i overtook her on the A11 today………..the Volvo not having SONAR on board – so it was bit of a shock!
Come back soon! 🙁
