RE: we have enough laws here….

    hi,
Yes it was three armed but it could have someone else not at all dangerous. It’s just that i get the feeling your point is the if criminals have guns then why can’t everyone, i would rather no one have guns and give the police the funding and power so that they could stop the criminals from getting guns.
Are you sure that electricity has graced the shores of ther land of the long white cloud. i’ve heard rumours that all kiwi’s do is run around looking for sheep to bugger. p:

RE: DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD?

I believe in god i’m a protestant. But i don’t believe in organised religion like churches,
It’s my!!! belief that God loves everything i believe in heaven but not hell and when you die you go to heaven but when your on earth your’ve just got do do what you think is right pretty good huh made it up myself and that’s the way i’ve lived the last 3 years. works pretty good.
to be honest the only thing that scaries me more than vegemite is thta if there is no God and therfore no heaven what happens to our souls i can’t imagine not existing what happens when we died do our soul just become nothing do we lose conscience that scaries the sh!t out of me and is the main reason i believe in God there is just too much unexplained sh1t in the world God ties it up in a neat bundle so i can concentrate on more important things like b00bies!!!!

RE: we have enough laws here….

    >The Constitution gives Americans something we Kiwis don’t have. The >right to defend ourselves… many will be talking about that nut who >went on a rampage in Germany… how many will talk about the man in >the North Island of New Zealand who was arrested for killing someone >the other night? Three armed men broke into his house… he shot and >killed one and the rest fled. If he had been unarmed his wife would >probably have been raped and they would have at least been victims >of a home invasion and a worst been killed… but because of NZ law >he is being charged

And what would have happened if it had been his teenage son coming hame with a few mates after a big night out and the son has lost his keys and he decides the back window is the next option Dad wakes up is still a bit sleepy it’s pitch black Dad see’s 3 guys and blows their heads of.

If im wrong please correct me but the American consitutions allows Americans to ‘Bare Arms” so your say we should ban sleaves that won’t bother me i always get my sleaves in my mash potatoes when i reach for the HP sauce.

    anything deadly

    hi,
yes i do see how what i said is open to all types of intrepretation to verify i men anything designed specificly to kill. guns big basta&d knives macheties crossbows.
if it’s your business then i have no problem with hunters having guns my problem is when you have large amounts of people with guns to protect themselves it leaves too much room for accidents and misunderstand and in the wrong hands people seem to get a bit more reckless and more gun ho.
My ideal world you would be able to own a weapon but have to store it in a registered club and you could go on club shooting days and trips. Then guns wouldn’t be in homes and some people wouldn’t get ideas about taling the law into their own hands.
Sorry if people misunderstood what i ment by deadly weapons, i’m not talking about forks and spoons.

    hi
Most people probably won’t like this but personally i don’t believe that any person sane or not should have guns, knives or anything else deadly. just an opinion if you don’t like it just ignore.

RE: What makes you proud of your country?

    Hi all,
I was born in Northern Ireland but moved to Australia when i was about 4 and while i am proud of my Irish herritage i feel Australian.
I don’t know how to describe it but just walking around the streets of Geelong there is an air of optimism the sense that anything is possible the place just has a good feel bad stuff that happens in the world doesn’t seem to get people down they care about how their favorite football team is going to go on the weekend. maybe it’s because Australia doesn’t have a long history that it doesn’t get bogged down in the past so it always has it’s head in the future direction. i just think Australia is good but every country has something good.

i’m sorry if this is really late but i had to reply
I live in Geelong and know the airport you a talking about from the tigermoths are you refering to is actually Geelong airport it mainly flies over Torquay and the surf coast i don’t know if it flies any commuter aircraft. it is really much of an airport if you wanted large aircraft you would go to avalon which is about 10 minutes from the center of the city. i’ve notice recently lots of Air Nippon and Qantas 737’s and 747’s seems to be very busy but geelong has lots of some tourist flight airports 5 or 6 that i can remember.
    i hoped this helped.
also you might know Avalon from the international airshow ever 2 years i call it the Geelong International Airshow through some of the othe Aussies might disagree.
