Guys.. How good or bad are the specs of the K9/K10 as compared to the IN20… seems that one of the LSP is getting the IN20 pretty soon..
Donno.. when we would be able to use nuclear energy to fly the commercial planes..

Russia showcases its improved Il-76MD-90 airlifter
1 September 2007
The Russian air force unveiled its Ilyushin Il-76MD-90 strategic airlifter at the Moscow air show in August. It is a refurbished standard Il-76MD. The new plane has Perm PS-90A76 turbofan engines, replacing the old version’s NPO Saturn D-30KPs.
The aircraft also features improved Leninets Kupol-76M avionics. Cruise speed is increased to 445 knots (825 kmph), maximum take-off weight is up to 210,000kg (460,000lb) and payload to 60,000kg, while fuel efficiency is up by 8 to 10 per cent. The aircraft also meets International Civil Aviation Organisation Chapter 4 requirements.
A more advanced version of the aircraft is on the way. To be produced by VASO, the Il-476 or ‘fourth-generation Il-76’ will feature PS-90A76 engines, a glass cockpit and a further 13 to 17 per cent improvement in fuel efficiency.

How was the Ilyushin Il-76MD-90 .. How much of an improvement is it over the DK-30’s…
Are there any cockpit improvements?.. any effort to reduce the number of crew onboard..
It’s a beautifull vessel.. love the quality of workmanship..
No reasoning/logic etc .. but just a gut feel that LM might floor everyone with F-35 being offered .. and the USG might also pitch in for it.. Boeing might get a bigger playing field in the commercial sector as well as other strategic areas..
One is Mother and other is Father..
What will the offspring look like :diablo:
I am little dissappointed by the workmanship on 29K..
Thanks for the response Martinez..
Had a few queries
1) What capabilities does the PS-90A2 upgraded IL-76 brings to the table?
2) What is that golden glint on the canopy of the Mig-29K/KUB

3) What is the level of workmanship in the Mig-29K/KUB
4) What was the impression of the Mig-29K/KUB among the personnel over there.
5) Was there any trace of the legendary black plume out of the new Klimov engines on the 29K
If you mean the Su-27BM / Su-35, go to this thread.
No news or pictures so far on the PAK-FA etc..
I meant Sukhoi RRJ.. which is also known as Superjet-100
anything about the sukhoi superjet…
That’s Mig-29K .. it shares the same canopy as that of KUB.. (on request of IN.. from logistics perspective I believe.. it will carry additional fuel and electronics )
Chinese AVIC Project
I saw two hulls back to back standing where usually Aditya is parked around a year and half back.. can’t tell you how much I missed my camera that day.. and the -17 looks far more impressive and well built then even the Talwars.. .
