tphuang.. agree that the bright ones can be replaced.. but the experience cannot.. and this would only delay one of the important programs for the Chinese armed forces…
Harry.. have you noticed that the build quality of the vessels from GRSE is improving… I guess they were better then the others in this aspect always…. the other day I saw the incomplete P-17 at the naval dockyards usually where Aditya berths.. it looked real good too.. the upper deck was all in primer.. do you have any details about the completion states of the 3 P-17’s out there at MDL..
sferrin.. I basically agree with your point about the experience .. but can’t the same be accrued through the scaled prototypes ?? Although I am very sure that the actual data out of the prototype way might not relate to what the actual production aircraft would have done.. but still it would take you good heights (in relative terms) I guess … Definetely not to the level of achieving the raptor or the spirit standards in the first attempt itself..
