Glen,I live in Oakville west of Toronto, and my nearest museum is Hamilton. How long would it take me to get to Trenton, and how does it compare to Hamilton?
Thank you for reminding me of one of the few things that I miss about the UK,the hairs stood up on the back of my head when those merlins roared!
Thanks again.
😮 Well that’s not going to win any beauty prizes!!
What shall we call it? Nimrodstein? Frankenrod? Bleeuch!
Great anecdote,Tim,thanks for posting. 🙂

Thanks guys,I agree with Trumper-the engine sounds are the one thing I’d critisize about the game.I run Il2 Forgotten Battles with the Ace packand Battle over Europe (which I recieved from Flypast very promptly after ordering)
I have just upgraded to a Pentium 4 and the game still sticks, especially when the skies are crowded,so don’t lose hope, stick with it and thanks for the help.
 Wasn’t there a naval version designed for the Kreigsmarine carrier that was never completed,I think it was going to be called either the Graf Von Zeppllin or the Von Hindenburg?
Apparently the Vulcan crew tried to fire off the single Shrike missile that they were carrying after firing other(s) at Argentine radars. The pylon used to mate the missile with the aircraft was scratch-built by technicians at RAF Waddington, probably resulting in the malfunction.
FYI,I believe that the largest aircraft to carry Sidewinders were the Nimrods used in the same campaign.
undefinedAt a guess I’d say it was the line-up of the Buchons used for the BoB movie.
