Flew in the Tiger Moth in 2003 and loved every minute!
Got to wear an Irving flying jacket, helmet and goggles AND the pilot let me take control for a few very sobering minutes….do it now!
Here!!
We’ve been here nearly six years, our lil’ ‘un was born here, and we love it.
Our standard of living is better than the UK. Wages are lower but so is the cost of living so it all works out.
The enviroment for kids is better, more focus on outdoor living and sports, better schools and the balance between home and work is better.
Basically, if you’re being headhunted, don’t hesitate, get the wheels rolling now.
We were so impressed, we decided to stay and took Canadian citizenship.

It’s not so much that Police ‘act as automatons’, they are doing their job and the job has changed to one where figures count more than anything else.

Good point, Grey.
And if people didn’t beat, stab, steal and rob there wouldn’t be any need for cctv.

Looked after the things whilst at North Coates but never saw one launch, thankfully, any clips of a Bloodhound launch around?
Ah, the mystery is solved…thanks all.
That should have been Niagara Falls……plane had thin body, possibly fuselage embedded engines, not a pure delta wing but close to it, with a single-fin tail…..
Re the ‘Whirlwind’ image…my first thought was that it was, in fact, a Whelkin (?) prototype….but then thought no, and then, that the WW didn’t perform well at altitude, so the plane image was pasted onto the cloudscape….
Anywhere near, Mr BS?

I’ve still got the 1973 Aeronauts annual, along with a Warlord and two Battle annuals…..happy days…
I’m sure I’ve seen a recent mention of an Aeronauts movie with Rafales taking the place of the Mirages. It was a French language film though which may explain it’s lack of publicity….
Looks like the engine from a Ju87 Stuka……
Prop on left and radiator/airscoop on right……?

We didn’t win the Falklands – they lost it (they made bigger and better military decision errors (i.e. ****-ups) than we did – and we made a lot!!).
I’m sure the families of those killed, on both sides, would be thrilled to read THAT comment…….
