A Nimrod MR2 is approx 120ft wide by 130 ft long and on its wheels stands about 30ft high

Can anyone help with the Squadron Markings currently displayed on WF259 at East Fortune, its a Puma’s Head biting a dagger
If you want TSR 2 bits, Cosford is the place, about 3 years ago I got to see litterally boxes and boxes (big ones too) in one of the storage hangars, all the stuff was brand new, wrapped and in original boxes, god knows what they have
All
The aircraft was XF442 : H, I was also directed to the copy of Sept 1982 FLYPAST, its a quite rivetting read describing the sortie in all its detail, in it Allan Pollock notes that XF442 was his mount.

It was very interesting to note the attitude adopted by the Czechs towards aircraft preservation, I got the impression the the Czech AF didn,t destroy anything but just offered it free of charge to anyone who wanted it and could collect it when they had finished with it (unlike the MOD), because everywhere we visited was “why display 1 when you can display 3, 4 or 5 of a type”. But most museums don,t appear to have much money to spend, in the case of Kbely (Free entry) none at all from the Air Force, it cost just 30 Krona to get into Vyskov (about 70p) but what a friendly bunch. We also visited ZRUC, which gave the impression it was one up from a scrappy (50p to get in) but at least they are trying really hard, open cockpits on most, very little HSE Faff and lots of touchy feely, just like the old days.
I would go back tommorow if I could.

I also visited Kbely on the same trip, which is a fantastic museum, the Prague Tech was also paid a visit but has just 5 aircraft and was closed on the day I was there.
Kbely rates as one of the best museums I have ever visited, and I,ve been to Pima, Duxford, & Hendon.
My top 3 are now Monino, Datanshang, and Madrid, Kbely was previously my #2
Any help with showing pics gratefully accepted, I saved them below the recommended size to post but they came out like that, what can I do to improve the attachments.

The Polish aircraft is called a BRYZA IIr and is a licenced built AN-28 the Poles use it as a light transport or maritime recce aircraft. Having been at the Czech IAS last weekend there certainly wasn,t an AN-28 or Bryza at the show, and as far as I am aware the Czech don,t even operate them, only the Poles in Europe,
It may have been a MORAVA there are a couple based at the Kbely civil airfield, which is in Prague of course.

My thoughts on first seeing the aircraft was that it had been just modified, but the serial appears to indicate it may even be a HOMEBUILT, the doors don,t seem quite right either, I saw lots of other aircraft with the same type of serial layout, hence my suspicion.
Checking my limited lists I have no idea where to find a correct identity from its serial, for this aircraft, no help on google.

If you are getting as far north as Inverness, visit the Highland Aviation Museum at Inverness airport, best on Sundays
Interesting to note that the Chief pilot on the 1st flight was John Turner, from Typhoon fame, the beast is in very good hands I think.
PA02 is expected to fly before the end of this year
