There is a list on Warbird Information Exchange of the aircraft used in the film.
http://www.warbirdinformationexchang…/data/tora.xls
Line 82 is A1-235.
I wanted to reply yesterday and I searched the excel sheet already.
But The excel sheet markes AI-235 ,as the Kate’s Tail shows AI-325.
Misprint in the excel sheet?
Did all Kate’s have AI-3.. markings? i.s.o AI-2..

I spent most of the afternoon in the Flight Gallery on the third floor doing a bit of experimenting with my Sony A580 camera. Unless I want a close up detail shots, I don’t use flash in a museum much preferring manual settings.
Great results ,
Tried to photogragh the gallery various times over the years ,but always with disapointing results.
specialy `the bouncing walkway`

Thanks for this update and pictures.
Indeed the museum in Saigon is under major rework.
Couldn´t see the UH-1 in your pictures and Chinook “086” is a new addition.
The Skyraider is finally out of its tight and dark corner.
Can’t see any changes at the Hanoi Military museum.
Kind regards
Johan
“Appropriate and ironic…” is indeed the best way to describe the Phantom display ,considering the jet was lost by its own rockets.
Thanks
