Some grand shots there! I think that the Egyptair scheme looks great on any of their types, not biased you understand 😉

Nice ones Neil! Nice to see some shots from an airport that rarely features on here. I really like the TAAG 777, and the SATA A310.

    Neil.

A bit like the rail network, myself I would renationalise the lot.

And so would I. There are some areas that private companies should never, ever have been allowed access to. The present state of what were the public utilities, IMO, vividly illustrate what happens when you do.

His quickfire humour and chirpy interjections against Margot are comedy classics. Why was he never Sir Richard Briers?

    Steven

He was both a CBE, and OBE I believe. However it never ceases to amaze me, that some great actors and entertainers never get the recognition they deserve, whilst other, and in my view, less deserving individuals do. One recent, non show business recipient, really wound me up, but that’s a topic for another day, and another thread 😉

A great shame. Every time I catch one of the repeats of The Good Life, I always feel that it represents a much more ‘innocent’ time. RIP Richard, you’ll be missed:(

longshot, I do indeed have one of those. I got it from a ‘flea market’ in Weisbaden Germany. The Polish stall owner had half a dozen or so of these, all with boxes. I’ve also got a 1/72 one, which I had made about 2 years ago. A fascinating aircraft.
