    Personally, I find the most annoying thing by far (surprised it hasn’t already been mentioned!) is when you are unable to have a window seat for whatever reason and then you see someone sat at a window seat and they decide to read for the entire duration of the flight… or even worse they pull the blind down so nobody can see anything!!! 😡 That makes me MAD!!!!!!!!

    Joe you took the words right out of my mouth mate! happened to me last year on my flight back to Manchester from Puerto Plata, oh how pissed I was during that flight. 😡

    I’ll make sure it won’t happen on my next flight this Monday and when we come back a week later! 😀

    Great selection Tom, as Lance said practice makes perfect 😎 .

    Well these were my first real attempts at aviation photography, taken with Pauls Fuji S5500. I have definitly caught the bug, and am itching to get out there again and to take better shots.

    I look foreward to the many more that will surely get posted 😀

    Agreed, that was a well contructed and written post BY767, I can still sympathise with the French position too, is there not another major airport in the world with a similer situation going on and it does work?

    Canadian airports for example……

    I just reckon there is some kind of ‘thing’ between the French and English where there has always been a ‘hidden’ dislike of each other. Can this refusal to speak English be down to that or is that just ridiculous!?

    You wouldn’t need to know what the other pilot is saying.

    It’s the responsibility of the ATC to control movements and prevent accidents and in the let one know what the other is doing and vice-versa, in the end it’s not the pilots overall responsibility to have to understand what the other pilot(s) is saying.

    Agreed though it does provide some sort of back up when you know what’s going on around you.

    Well to be fair it is France after all, English is the official ATC language but I’m sure most french pilots feel more at home in their own country speaking their own language.

    I’m sure the same would apply in all countries that don’t have English as the national language.

    As for the Xbox I’ve never invested in one, but with all the ‘hype’ about it I’m in two minds as whether to get one….
