But hey, it worked for them as we’re talking about it here!
Indeed you are right!
It seems BHX has reposnded through this article!
But Peter Vella, Birmingham airport’s business development director, said: “Ryanair is obviously desperate to operate more services from Birmingham, in addition to its current three daily Dublin flights, realising the strong market opportunities available in the West Midlands and the excellent facilities available here.
“But we are still waiting for a formal and professional proposal from them.
“Clearly, Ryanair isn’t managing to attract people to East Midlands and is struggling against the low cost competition available from Birmingham including BA, bmibaby, flybe, Monarch Scheduled, Germanwings, SkyEurope, Aer Lingus.
“We’re always interested expanding our network but we’ve had no formal approach from Ryanair for at least two years. Instead, it chooses to engage in cheap publicity stunts like this.”
Damn right 😀
As far as I know, MyTravelLite have been fully integrated back into MyTravel Airways and no longer operate flights in their own right.
Sums it up, it’s just selling seats on normal MYT flights.
Or maybe Ryanair throwing their toys out the pram because BHX wouldn’t let them have thier own way…..
EDIT:Completley not related I have passed post number 2000, woooo 😎
I saw watched it fly over my work too and what a grand site it was 😀 , is here for crew training to practice approaches/landings AFAIK. Odd as they usually favour EMA for this kind of thing.
Thanks for clearing that up Elgan 😎
Saw them all parked up at BHX on my last visit, I’ll have to get a piccie up later 😀
Why do they not have a ‘Jealousy’ smilee on here! 😀
For example, BBC says for the next five days max temp in Innsbruck is +1C, minimum is -21C. I think I’ll stick to my trip to Phoenix next week – max +22C!
Andy
God a trip to Phoenix, wish I could be saying the same.
Would you rather see a murky Manchester sky or a human made concrete forest (blocks of flats)???
Whats not to like about the background at Innsbruck 🙂 😀
Exactly! The BA livery and the Innsbruck scenery make a very nice combination indeed! 🙂
It is a stunning picture, is G-CFAA one of the examples being sold to Swiss?
Thats brilliant by the RNZAF. the 757 has to be boeing’s best aircraft every (apart from the B-17 😀 )
Fokker Fan
James
What?! Not the Fokker F50/70/100 😉 😀
😎 Happy Birthday Matt, have a great day 😀
I have seen that, shows what a fantastic aircraft the B757 really is. Only 20 days (including today) till I’m back on one! 😀
