The rain had just stopped, and the light was perfect, making our 747 positively glow. I always talk to people about “the warm fuzzy feeling” you get when you are in a far away land, and you see that great big bird sat on the ramp, oozing homeliness in that great colour scheme. I certainly felt it then

At a complete guess, I would imagine the Jet Airways was a divert from LHR?

I heard it was maintanence, whether that’s right I do not know :D, it actually diverted to Birmingham to begin with when it was meant to land at Gatwick.

After spending a few hours here and sorting out the various problem’s down at LGW, it finally departed there later on the same day after coming in in the morning.
