Great selection, remember seeing that Surinam back in Amsterdam last August :D.
Thanks guys :D, my day at work was surprisingly easy! not that I’m complaining mind :diablo:.
Afternoon all! some more from me, I flew Gatwick – Verona – Gatwick with BA B733 (G-LGTI) by FFX, not the most detailed of models but they load quick which is the most important thing :D. Here’s my selection….
BA2596 to Verona:

BA2597 back to Gatwick:

Enjoy 😎 ;).

Ah but it’s all just business isn’t it ? 😉
Start the arguing……sorry, debate 😉 now people :dev2:.
“Flybe plans to increase its current commitment to invest $1.2bn in new aircraft to over $2Billion by increasing the fleet to over 80 Bombardier Q400 and Embraer 195 aircraft by 2010. Flybe plans to retire the BA Connect fleet of 50 seat jet aircraft as soon as possible to drive maximum fleet efficiency.”
So does this mean they intend on keeping the BACON Dash 8’s for longer? or is this just a typo in the press release? with the small amount of Dash 8’s they have in comparison with the ERJ-145/RJ100 I guess they would be easier to miss out.
As for another question any guesses as to where the fleet may well be going? potentially Swiss European and Lufthansa Regional could take some of the RJ100s?
So many questions :diablo:.
New Flybe routes previously operated by BA Connect
Birmingham – Aberdeen
Birmingham – Hamburg
They were due to operate these routes anyway, Flybe will not be continuing the other BA Connect routes from BHX…
GVA
LYS
NCE
TXL
BCN
MAD
Examples such as BCN have already been picked up by Baby for example prior to the annoucement, hopefully BHX will be able to find other airlines to fill the routes dropped.
It’s a big blow to the airport 🙁 and to any other airports losing routes in this deal. BA really now no longer serve Birmingham? hard to believe isn’t it .
Well like I said yesterday, I’m currently enroute to Munich at FL360 as flight UA902 from Washington. Departed arond 8.20am this morning and and ETA of 4.10pm or so, 15 minutes ahead of schedule :D.
Here’s my departure from IAD’s runway 30 at dusk…

More to come of the landing later! enjoy .
