Certainly didn’t come across as racist to me, it did however as everyone else has said be one of the best films I’ve seen in recent years!! Was even more happy to pick it up from HMV a couple of weeks ago for 8 quid :D.

The film caused much controversy in Nigeria down to how the gangsters in District 9 were portrayed etc….

I think someones done that image on Photoshop or something no? On account of the fact that G-YMMM is in the background mostly intact minus the tail. Wasn’t she broken up completely quite a while ago? Biman didn’t recieve their first B777 till January of this year correct? So how does that work?!

But in this image below dated April 2009 you can see the nose and rear tail section completely removed

According to the following article they are indeed reverting to the old livery though…….

    http://www.anna.aero/2010/04/07/bangladeshs-main-airport-and-airline-begin-2010-with-new-name-and-look/

The new branding (airline): Although the prime minister unveiled Biman Bangladeshโ€™s new livery on only February 3, another cabinet decision has already scrapped the incoming corporate image because it is felt it does not represent Bangladesh nationhood clearly enough, opting instead to revert to the original “Balaka” crane. This is despite the fact that the first 777 has already been delivered in the new paint.

    Confused? Me too ๐Ÿ˜€

I’ve only been on the AA 777 out of the selection there and I found that a very comfy ride, as you say the jumbo would be a nice experience but then again so would the A340.

I personally wouldn’t mind either and I’m very much budget driven so whatever the cheapest would be, I’m looking at heading to California at the start of May. No way BA are getting a look in with the threat of strike action still looming…..

As I’m sure everyone else will say lad, it’s upto you ;).

Of course I hadnt forgot about BHX, but seeing as LHR has far more services it would be the obvious choice for people.

Depends if you want to use Continental or not I suppose :diablo:.

And the flight from BHX a few weeks ago was canx and so they had to bus everyone down to LHR, so not such a good option if you want to avoid the hassle.

Hardly a regular occurance or a good example to use for avoiding hassle ;).

Bet that will be annoying for the locals as it now means they will have to travel along the M4 in order to get to LHR.

I guess you’re clearly forgetting about Continental’s daily service to Newark from Birmingham? ;). I do admit its a great shame for Bristol and it may just become a seasonal service next summer? Who knows but this is just the thing BHX should be promoting right now, there’s an alternative to LHR not far up the road!! If you’d like to avoid the ‘hassle’ of LHR……

I witnessed the Google cars drive past me on two occasions in Birmingham and while down here in Farnham, I sadly didn’t appear on it. The closest I get to fame is my car being on it in both these locations 140 miles apart…:D

Be diplomatic about it I say, you have every right to be angry but going in all guns blazing isnt the best route. Email and ask why they didnt request your permission to use the shot and you are happy for them to continue to use it assuming they pay the amount you request :).

As for a witness you have at least two here ;).

Not strictly written on the back of a dirty van/lorry but I found this amusing while waiting at some traffic lights in Aldershot back in November…
