The MyTravel has an OY reg which would be the Danish side of the company, formerly Premiair. With that in mind I would suggest it will have come from Scandinavia somewhere.
Not at all, infact that particular aircraft is based at MAN for the summer operating for the UK arm I believe. Last summer I flew with MYT to Puerto Plata from MAN and both my flights were operated by aircraft from the Danish arm, OY-VKF/VKG.
Continuing the tour, here we are lifiting off the rather short runway at REK to head to JFK. Was close I tell you, crosswind didn’t help!

I think we need a better flight planner, fancy not finding out when the runway is only 5000ft Sam! :diablo:, joking mate :D.

Tom, i could have spent all day in that spot! It would have been much better than spending my time, feeling ill after riding the Manhattan Express TOO many times 😀
But with the Heat and UV index, there was no point in being there until early evening, and anway, as i’m sure you’ll know, it didnt get busy till after 6!
:EDIT: We didnt go to the arrivals hall in LAS Tom, as we drove up from Phoenix 😎 And, the Luxor, is one mad hotel, Fighter Pilot was on at IMax, well worth the $11 i paid!
Ahhh I should of known about you driving, just my bad memory :p , there’s also a Cessna inside the arcade in the Luxor that’s a flightsim. I got the highest score and inputted my name, wonder if it’s still there? :diablo: . Anyway going too much off topic :dev2: 😀 .
Fantastic report Elgan, very enjoyable and accompanied with some great pictures and the videos especially. Appeared to be a rather nice touchdown :D.
Fantastic Elgan! really like your LAS shots, that’s a great little spot isn’t it and a brill hotel, nice choice :D. Happen to see the Cessna hanging in the arrivals hall at LAS? 😉
Happy Birthday indeed :D.
Happy Birthday indeed :D.
There’s only one word for the shot of the EK, gorgeous! :D. I assume the first two were from Sheldon Country Park?
Great selection Paul :), out of curiousity did you have step-ladders with you or were you just tall enough to go over the fence at BHX? or were there some gaps!
Nice shots Tom, been a busy day for Britannia 001. Touching down on RWY 19 at Reykjavik on the second flight of it’s world tour after a journey from PIK and BHX. Me flying and Sam (ManchesterSam) planning the entire routing! 🙂 😎 the entire flightplan is….
BHX-PIK-RKV-JFK-MCI-SLC-LAX-PPT-AKL-MEL-PER-CGK-HKT-MNL-NRT-HKG-BOM-DXB-IST-MAD-AMS-BHX
With the possibility of others being added, estimated time of completion anyone?! :diablo: :dev2:

Manged to replace the default FS touchdown smoke with this freeware effect off Avsim. Not a bad landing if I do say so myself! :diablo: enjoy :D.

Great selection Rob! AMS meet draws ever closer :D.
You should of told me you were coming Tom, could of helped out! 😀
Great selection :).
Stem cell research is a good thing but it will prolong the life expectancy of everyone, that off course, puts pressure on resources and the environment.
Yes but it can also be said that availibility of resources to support the population growth will also increase. The fact that the Earth has already coped with the massive growth in the human population up till now, why will it not continue to do so? it’s unlikely that there will be a major population/resource crisis in the next few hundred years.
Possible new technologies developed by humans will also allow future increases in population to be supported at a high standard of living
