Great selection Dan, must try out some sunset shots myself! especially like the final FR shot .
I’ve been trying to stick up for Flywho and I will continue to do so but yes it would be nice if they had a news section on their website giving us updates on their current situation because without people end up checking the website just to see if anything at all has changed.
Now this has happened and with no information forthcoming we can all only assume what the problem is, setting up an airline isn’t easy!
I really do hope they get off the ground :).
It always had been a gap on the route map so not surprised to see EI start this or restart the NCL route.
Ahhh yep I knew this had been at BHX, after hearing the descriptions it’s finally good to see it! Do like it, especially as it’ll be a commen sight at BHX :D.
Welcome to the forums :D, nice selection :).
Can’t beat the DC-10 .
Ahhh knew we could count on Rob to get us the inaugural flight :D, great selection and look’s like the weather was on your side too 😎 . Any of the departure? mind you it was four hours or so later….
Both sites work fine for me Dan…
Both sites work fine for me Dan…
Even more great photos from both of you, if I’m honest I’d never found the idea of multiple flights on one day appealing but reading this does make it seem rather fun! 😀 least you got to spend some decent time at each airport.
Great report there Tom, do like the flightdeck shot :D.
I don’t think Transat’s Tristars went as early as 2000, I remember seeing one in August 2001/2.
Your right, look’s like they kept going right through till the first half of 2004.
Do Air Transat still use any of their Tristars to the UK ?
They retired them from service a while back now, I’m not sure of the exact year but it’s around 2000 I think.
Summed up you have…
Biman Bangadesh DC-10s, MAN & LHR
Northwest DC-10s, LGW

Eva Air Cargo MD-11s, LHR

I’m not entirely sure about the info with the last three, please correct where wrong.
