Non aviation related but is it me or has the connection to our beloved site been on the slow side of late?

Glad it’s not just me :D, it varies like right now it’s fine but some pages don’t load at all sometimes.
Welll not exactly your typical FS shot but here it is, was flying online earlier with a friend on his server and the final flight was Dublin – Bristol. Used a Direct GPS IFR flightplan and all was simple enough right down to the very last second when I was just about to turn for the ILS for runway 9 at Bristol.
The aircraft wasn’t intercepting the ILS so quickly checked right frequency was in the NAV1 radio etc and that was fine, to my shock and dismay I’d discovered that I’d tried to land at Filton! so went right into action flew over Filton swung round and landed on runway 27 at Bristol International.
Needless to say it was fun, I could blame many things like me with headphones on and listening to music but in the end I screwed up. Here’s flight track at the end :D.

Nice selection Lance, must say the new colours of Tap easily brighten up a dull day :D.
Great selection Rob, that KC-135 is a beuty :D.
Great selection Paul, my favourite has to be the Jet B757 landing over near the lake is it. Just a great summer feel to it 😎 .
Look’s you have a couple of dust spots in the last one though 😉 :diablo: :p :D, DSLR user’s worst nightmare.
Great selection Rob, love the MD-11 :D.
Maybe I’m being stupid here but why is a Iberia A343 at FRA? do they use them on peak-time services or…?
Just something about the LH A300, can beat it! great selection Rob :).
You must of seen the B777 UA sent to TFS as a special charter back in February on behalf of Audi cars. Why? I haven’t a clue but still it would be a nice sight in TFS :D.

found me a BA 747 in san fransico
Whatever the hell kind of file that is I can’t open it 😀 .
Is that Excel plane G-XLAF … going out on lease to Canada, or is it being received back from Canada ? 😮
Thanks
Look’s like it’s G-XLAH returning from winter lease with Sunwing Airlines, still happens to carry the Canadian registration still. That’s what it look’s like anyway looking at pictures of it on the web and now it’s back in XL colours.
Do not need to download Google Earth!
Oooo freaky, can zoom right into my back garden :D.
Here’s a BHX overview, is wierd to see how different it looked.

An American B767 on the deck at Terminal 2 there, must of been around 2002 time?
13000 feet to take off? Blimey there must have been a lot of “runway glue” about!! Why did it take so long?
Well we departed RWY 33 at Madrid and got off the ground not long before the numbers for RWY 15, it’s a runway of around 13000ft or around that mark so it may well of been less.
It could be said that we were a practically fully loaded A343 and it was rather hot in Madrid, I’m not sure how acurate the flight dynamics are on POSKYs A343s either? whatever the reason it was fun 😀 .
Next small batch from me Honolulu – Hilo with a B717, not the weather I was expecting but hey makes it all more interesting. This is exactly what I like, a very frame-rate friendly aircraft.

Interesting selection Paul! especially like the Saudi T7 on take-off :).
