Why is everyone getting worked up about aircraft being scrapped when the press release only says the collection is being reviewed.

I have not seen the word scraping in any statement issued by BA or the RAFM it is just what everyone is thinking, and if they are being scrapped you would be way of the mark if you think it is becauce they do not fit in with Cosfords so called glossey image. When the aircraft came to Cosford they were under BA care with their apprenticescoming toCoford at least once a year to mataine & repaint the aircraft.
Due to the cutbacks of modern times this has ceased and the RAFM has not got a bottomless pit of money so if the aircraft are scrapped it is down simpley to economics.Maybe the RAFM should start charging an entry fee again,

The british weather and money for the upkeep is what’s stacked against Cosfords B.A Aircraft in reality

I think before you go over the top in blaming Cosford we need to know all the facts and by the way who controls Cosford?

I woulld imagine that with so many sections of airframe scattered around the Cosford site it was near on impossible to cover it.

I think the reason the Valiant has not yet been reassembled is due to the RAF team assigned with the task were taken off to do another job. The Valiant was due to be reassembled at the end of September and it is due to unforseen circumstances that work is only just starting, so I have been told.
