The Valiant will be under cover when the new building is finished possibly by late summer.
Not all people live in the south of England!
Simple the Liberator was reassembled first because it was at Hendon and not Cosford
I understand the Valiant should have been started to be put back together at the end of September but the RAF Team that stripped it have been taken away on other duty’s I would imagine it will not now be started until the new year.
The valiant is awaiting the RAF Team to rebuild it
Not much chance of that TMN time is a big factor now
There are some films that should never be remade and the Dambusters is definitely one
It seems to me it is well overdue I do not think its been this late before
I understand it went into the restoration centre
Cosford F111
Yes the F111 did arrive Thursday was talking to someone at the Museum today
Yes it arrived back at Cosford about 3 weeks ago it was also on display at Cosford about 2 or 3 years ago before the mkI arrived I think
I think you will find the Dak will stay where it now is until its new home is finished. (The new building)
The Hampden is a long term project which will almost certain take 8 to 10 years to complete
Dakota is in the MBCC about half way through it’s repaint, Vulcan and Belfast also having work done to them.
I would imagine the Valiant will be towed through the fence and onto the airfield when put back together due to lack of space on the Museum site
