The main thing is to get as many airframes under cover as possible dont forget the Hastings is going out as well.
I would think you are very close with that list Moggy
I think the Comet and Argosywill go into hangar one along with poss the single Pioneer plus some of the aircraft in storage.
I would imagine the Valiant will be rebuilt outside over the next few months so there should be plenty of time for photographs.
As a regular visiter I think there is far to much work going on at Cosford in getting the exhibits ready for the new building without them worrying about about photo shoots as much as we would like one
Those people who know the present Cosford landscape will tell you that it is impossible to get the three V bombers together there is neither the room or the time to do it, nice idea but just impractical.
Sorry about your sad loss tim
not H.A.S but wartime Lamella Hangars
I did not know RAF Cosford had any H.A.S on the base. I have read somewhere that that Soviets and USA to be represented in new building.
I hear the new building is due for completion late 2006 or early 2007 and may I point out Cosford has been a Museum for the last 25 years not an overflow for Hendon
nige,
your point was advanced tickets were sold out last week which was not true.
Andrewman,
I was there that year took us till 11.15pm just to get off the airfield
so why moan
If you are going to any major event you expect crowds so you go early not the middle of the day.
Nige,
Tickets were on sale at the Museum all day yesterday
