I fully agree with you about the building Ivan as some one like yourself who visits regular I believe Cosford has a winner

Ivan you are right the damage was caused by high winds movivg the aircraft.
The rusty finish on the frame work in the cold war building is to protect it, I am told it is some sort of chemical process.

The opening event is private, the Museum is open to the public on Thursday 8th Feb.

The Viking is at Brooklands Museum, the Liberator is now at Hendon in place of the Valiant that moved to Cosford.
The rest of the Aircraft are still at Cosford.

The Valetta is still at Cosford in the Storage Hangar along with the wings I am told.
