Good point TWINOTTER23 but there is is a bit of a difference between Newarks £553,00 and Cosford’s 12.5 million.
The point I was trying to make was who cares about the shape of the building the most important thing is to get the aircraft undercover.

I personaly like the new building at Cosford, but what needs to be remembered is you do not get lottery grants these days for square buildings.
The building could be round with pink spots the main thing is to get the aircraft under cover.
I see everyone is still blaming the RAFM regarding the airliners, BA are not blamless in this.

Cambra & Hunter are both in the restoration centre being worked on and being prepared for repainting there are no aircraft in the new building yet.
The new building looks very impressive.

Exhibits tend to flow freely from Cosford to Hendon but not the other way, somthing to do with Cosford being north of Watford I think.

The B1 nose that was scrapped was not all complete after many years as a ground training airframe for the RAF.

Vulcan and Victor were not in such good shape I agree they look in good conidition. It would have taken a lot of funds to treat the corrosion funds that were not available.

I think you will find the only time the Valiant will be moved is when it moves into the new building

Just wondered if you had heared somthing I had not. I believe the Comet could have a home in hangar one, the 707 is not in such good state.
The Brit will stay at Cosford as it is an RAFM aircraft and has only just been moved to it’s new position at the Museum as for the rest well the question to be asked is what if the RAFM is offrerd a VC-10 tanker or a Nimrod when they come out of service do they turn it down due to there being no room due to the BA fleet?
