Looks great , but pity it was an ultra rare F model it should have being rebuilt as such.

Hi all , the most pretty combat aircraft would have to be the Battle , as long as you didnt have to fight in it.

I think Battle’s were fitted with that sort of grip too.

Not Battle , the battle used AH2040 and in the rear cockpit on dual control version there is no provision for brake lever on the grip.

This aircraft has being forsale for a long long time for 40k it is in poor condition and not complete , would make a ok spares source for HARS .

The cost of moving it would be not worth it , at best would make a good cockpit.

As a tender 14 year old , i walked around the airfield in Berwick an other suburb of Melbourne Victoria , it was in the process of being closed down to have a housing estate built on it .

Many of the buildings were being dismantled and things being dumped found a gipsy major cowl maybe Auster or proctor dumped in a skip , a stack of old tiger wings and other interesting bits.

Also there was a DC3 centre section , dad wouldnt let bring anything home , hope someone saved that lot.

    turret

Not sure if this has been listed before, sorry if it has, but:

    DAI

As i own a few of these does that mean i am sitting on a fortune….

I think not , at least he didnt say it was off a lanc , would want the complete turret for that kind of money , and maybe a section of fuse to install it in.

    cheers dave
