I was wondering how this chap would have been identified in the records. Is he listed as De Little, DeLittle, deLittle, Delittle or Little?
Richard
Thanks Jack.

“Potential Buyer” – I hope my wife doesn’t read that…
Taking those examples just as ebay advertisements though, there are big differences.
I’m an outsider in the field of cockpits, so from what I see of the two
WJ676 is clearly well presented in the single exterior shot. There are then another three interior shots that don’t really show her well. The describing text of her is in Ebay big, black shouty style that I find difficult to read, so I don’t bother. The final words are in even bigger red Ebay shouty and include warnings. The description of the item is badly written and seems like a typical “Dunno what I’m selling here mate but it must be worth summat” Ebay seller. For me, the description doesn’t support the quality of the cockpit and the work that has been put into it. Finally, the starting price is probably realistic, but is a put off for an object of unknown value
WK122 has two exterior photographs and a further four interior ones. She looks a little tired, externally, but it’s hard to tell the difference in quality between her and WJ676 internally. The description is easy to read, friendly and simple. Most of all, she started with a low price to get people interested, and is now attracting interest.
So, for me, WK122 is interesting, tempting perhaps. WJ676 is hard to understand and appears expensive
Now, I know nothing of cockpits, the cost of restoration or ownership, the relative merits of either cockpit. I’m just taking this as a casual Ebay possible purchaser.
Richard
Perhaps Ebay isn’t the right market for cockpits
What goes around, comes around

These “Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing” or alternative identities are quite fascinating
Phew, I’ll put my splicing kit away

Cor, this Mud City is some fine stuff…
I took it as Breezer (as in Bacardi – perhaps I move in too low a circle for this forum 🙁 )
Richard
{Drinking Sadler’s Mud City Stout just now in an attempt to regain a little credibility – mind you, another bottle at 6.6% and I shall be beyond caring}
It just shows I is ignorant :p

Neil Williams/Zlin…wing attachments etc 🙂
There’s a connection here between the Curtiss in “Magnificent Men” and the Zlin/Neil Williams that I’m not aware of
