    The FUERZA AEREA SANDINISTA of NICARAGUA used 6 SIAI SF.260ML Warrior for COIN roles against the contras in the 80´s bloody war.The fate of these, look at the pic.

    The MEXICAN AIR FORCE bought 30 sf.260 for training but without any armament, these being model “E”

    The MEXICAN NAVY copy the same pattern and colors as the ANTONOV AN-32 ,MIL MI-17 that where bougth in 1998 (mi-17 second batch, first in 1994 carry a blue yellow high viz for serch and rescue) these aircraft came with these patern and colors from UCRAINE. And it looks like that the high comand liked these color since the MEXICAN NAVY its changing all its aircraft in these colours.
    Newly arryve CASA C-212 FITS carry 2 tone gray and BO-105-S5 also.

    HELLO

    The MEXICAN NAVY purchase 6 MD-902 “COMBAT EXPLORER” for ship operations.The selection of this helo was made because its NOTAR sistem.The MEXICAN NAVY has got alot of troubles and accidents with theyr BO-105 with normal tail rotor since the helipad of its FRIGATES and CORVETES are quite small.
    The term “COMBAT EXPLORER” was given by the company because the MD-902 are armed with a 7 shot rocket pod and a GAU .50 gatling gun pod.
