from post 3009 my answer
Since we were discussing a 1940 aircraft used the population of 1940 which I found of the web to be 13 million.
Chris
It’s not in the 1970 or 1974 edition I also have another book on Rumanian aircraft couldn’t find anything about it. A picture is good proof. Which is why hopeing to see some other visual on it ie: 3 view or color side profile. Over the years since I started getting interested in AF’s of the via William Green’s article’s and books from the early 60’s how many new aircraft i’ve found used not listed back then. Which is good for delving into history more. No one knows everything also nice finding new info.
Chris
You got it. Over to you.
It was in this book. Anyone know where I can get a copy. I have the old book in Rumanian from 1970 and you can download the 1974 version on the web.
Anyone have a 3 view or Color side view or any more info on it.
Rumanian population in 1940 I found on the web to be 13 million

This is the only reference I found on the net:
In 1940 three ?.?.?.?? prototypes were under construction; intended to replace the ?.?.?.?? in production, only one was completed and flight tested.
The other reference was in a recent book with the pix. In my friends library which puts mine to shame. I would have purchased this book but didn’t get it in time. Hopefully they will reprint some more.
Sincerely
Chris

Thanks for the info. It looks like they weren’t using the Varivol system looks more like the Makhonine MAK-10 or MAK-101. Where instead of expanding back from leading edge. Expanded out from the fuselage.
Chris
Now in response to the previous WOT. I looked up Gérin Varivol and it was a biplane aircraft that flew and crashed. The aircraft pictured was a modified Caudron after WW2 with the Varivol style wing. Maybe a little more info about the modified Caudron.
Thanks
Chris
