RNLAF efforts
The RNLAF sent a KDC-10 with reliefgoods and a 60 person USAR team (Urban Search and Rescue). It consists of firefighters, police, medical specialists and 8 rescue dogs.
I believe its the first of three planned flights.
Would you be kind enough to tell me how you came upon the UDAF MiG-21bis photograph…do you know who took the picture? I’m hoping to publish it in my book.
Or perhaps the same Vano guy of these photo’s : http://russianplanes.net/EN/AL/Uganda_-_Air_Forces

Here a picture of the BulAF Mi-17 403 in better days (during NATO/PfP exercise Co-operative Key 2001 in Bulgaria).
The biggest problem seems to be that AIRtime is currently more or less a one-man-show directed by Mel Williams and he seems to keep some older or traditional ways in managing this business … payment for the authors is such an issue for example ! 😡
The comments of IAPR nowadays practically being a one-man-show is rather worrying… Hope IAPR will continue to be published.
Wasn’t it a “one man show” already for a long time…… even in the days the show was run by Dave Donald?? 🙁
In that way not to much has changed but now nevertheless “they” are aiming at 5 issues this year which seems to be an improvement. 😉
Changes at Mari North Turkmenistan
Interestingly they moved the stored Su-17s from the south dispersals to cental flightline on base leaving the south disperals for Su-25 operations.
IAPR 25
Any information about the content for Vol. 25 ???
Cheers, Deino
Why the interest in the next issue if you do not even have seen the current one?? But o.k. here it is. 😀
A safisfied IAPR subsciber !!!!!!!!!!
Today I recieved issue 24. As always, fast and on time. As said before I do NOT at all agree with some subscribers complaining . It must be their National post service :o………. anyway here is the content 😉
Great news ………… Alan Warnes was in Pakistan in April and got some great access. He is currently writing a 200 page book on the PAF concentrating on the last 10 years – out in Dec……..Can’t wait!!!:D
I can wait. His writing is o.k. but his pictures are crap…. 😀
As clearly can be seen from what I’ve turned up today from the following URL.
The ETAF seems to be retaining a cluster of non-flyable birds grounded up until now in a revetment at Dire Dawa AB, some are positively recognizable as MiG-15UTI Midget Trainer amongst all the aircrafts they had scraped together.
At a glance, All of which appears to be kept almost intact after years of service life, affording it a likely chance of going into training anew as needs arise.
